How many of you miss and/or regret selling/getting rid of your Mo-pars along the line... Me..My 68 Coronet 383 4 spd BadAss..
71 Demon /6 solid car
68 Valiant 318
(3) Dusters (various mills) super clean /6 w/ the foot pump window washer (forced to sell after Grand Ma died),
a 8 3/4 rear, fold down back seat, front disk car, w/ a 318 (someone painted the Whole Bottom pink!) sold to make room for 66 sat
71 Challenger (no mo) but clean!
74 Challenger (318 rust bucket)
74 D-200 4 door (hot rod 318) Driver Work (gas hit 4$ a gal, traded on my 4.7 Dakota 5 spd sport) hate that trans BTW
77 Club Cab (400 BB, screwed out of)
80 4wd w/ ac (318) Macho, factory paint, lift kit, forced to sell by Asshole Property Management( should have gotten even, may still...)
80 something step-side (/6 OD 4 spd) clean
63 Dart GT (/6) auto + few more
also had 2 392 Hemis, (1 a 12.5 to 1 .60 over) a 413, stolen... not to mention a set of 354 heads and some 440 heads (thanks Ed G..) and another speed shop owner in Tampa (he did get busted for theft in muscle car ring)

Yes Sir. I miss 3 Mopars. 72 Cuda 340 6-pak, 73 cuda 360 w/6 pak from first Cuda, 66 Dart Gt w/318. The 340 Cuda was pretty fast and I had painted it Plum Crazy Purple. I loved that car(Loved Em all)

I grew up when gas went to a dollar a gallon and I don't even want to think about all the hi preformance cars I owned and some that I destoyed. You could buy all the nice Road Runners, Super Bees, Chargers and etc. you wanted for $300 a copy.

I really hated to sell my Limegreen,383,auto 1970.But I really wanted a 71 GTX or Road Runner.I replaced the 70 with this plum,383,hemi 4 speed.

Jim

You folks are gonna make me cry...
I never thought that there would come a day when you couldn't get 'em anymore...

:sad8:All of them...here they are in order. All were 318 auto:

'66 Sport Fury
'63 Belvdere 2 door post
'64 Fury 4-door (ice cold a/c!)
'67 Fury 4-door sedan Turbine Bronze

My first car was my first Mopar back in 1974.
Red 1964 Dodge Polara 500, 361 big block, 4 speed console with factory tach, bucket seats, dual exhaust. Paid $500.
Found a 426 Stage III Wedge complete from air cleaners to pan and Ramcharger exhaust system from manifolds to tips for $1,000. Picked up 426 rear pumpkin.
Wife got pregnant and had to sell the car because I needed the money in 1983.

I bet that was a fast C body!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, if any good came out of this, I feel a lil bit younger............

What started this madness..... , I was watching Barret/ Jackson, and a 68 Bee (beautiful car, mint, low miles) went for around 30 + Large, Then, I saw a VW van go for $70,000......:wack:
I do not value my love for the cars over$, as I am just a carpenter, so ...........

Mine: 67 Cuda notch,72 Dart Swinger /6, 69 Road Runner 440 6pack clone. Jonesing for a 71 to 73 big block Charger,or same era Road Runner.

Sold my old RR when it was worth the least it would ever be, about ??78??

I don't have any good photos of it, thanks to old film and a house fire. Originally 70 RR, 440 sixpack, 4 speed, 3.54 Dana, "hang on" aftermarket air, black hood and dust trails 'er whatever they were called, and air grabber. At the time of this photo, about 73 or '4, it had a 340 in 'er.

Regretted selling my 69 340 Barracuda and really should have held on to the 70 Charger, 440+6, 4speed, 410 Dana. The Charger needed some work to be road worthy but both were low mileage original paint cars. That's a before and after the next owner restored the Charger. I keep posting pictures of these hoping someone out there knows their whereabouts.

The first picture was my first car. Bought it from my grandma in 1978 and sold it in 1986.:(

25 years later the bug bit again and I built a tribute to my grandma, and the first Dart.

Yup:

Regret the following-- 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus and 1981 Imperial. Had no choice, both were daily drivers that needed too much $$$$$$$$$$$$!

I miss my 69 R/T Charger the most,...paid 1000 bucks for it in 1981, 383 mag, 727, Light blue with a white vinyl top, white gut, and white bumblebee stripe,....sold it a year later for 500 bucks (sans engine and trans),...sold it to the folks who built cars for "The Dukes of Hazard,....Dumbest thing I ever did...
