Lost reverse, need help finding it. 727

Moisture or anti-freeze will cause the glue to let go and the friction material fall right off the steel discs. Vehicles that sat for a decade or radiators that cracked can cause that.

Maybe sat to long, 14 years since at track 11 years since on the road.
No antifreeze in it.
Moisture? Car has always sat inside, but has been dormant a lot of the last few years.
Now I have the time and a little money to get her going again. Fuel prices are headed up. Ugh.

There in lies your problem. Type F deteriorates seals. Then the clutches get burned/ fall apart. Ford was having a big problem with tranny failures in the early 70s. The switched to type A/dexron. No more problem. Kim
But, but , but, the recommendation was to run type f.
