I recently upgraded my 9" drum system to a 10" rear drum and kelsey hayes 4 piston front power disk setup. The car is a 67 Barracuda/6 cyl/automatic with the complete factory setup from a 68 Valiant signet. It had a low pedal (almost to the floor) until yesterday when I swapped out the master cylinder and power boost unit from my 69 Cuda. It turns out the power boost unit (from the Valiant) seems to be the culprit. As soon as I swapped it I got a high firm pedal and all was ok. I don't understand what's going on. There are no vacumn leaks anywhere and I'm thinking it's something mechanical I'm not seeing. Any ideas?
