I am installing the grahpite bushings from energy sus. in my lower control arms,Inoticed that they have a crown on them kind of like a mushroom and it does not fit flush to the top of the race like the factory rubber bushing does it sticks up about 3/4 inch.Has anyone ever installed this type of bushing before, will it cause a problem with torsion not being seated the whole way and not allowing the clip to be installed?

Yep, I've seen this. You need the other type of lower control arm pins. I think the older ones tend to me the non mushroom type, but I don't know for sure.

In the picture below, you have one in the middle, but need the ones on the left and right. The middle one won't work with the long poly bushing. BTW, A body LCA pins are different smaller size than B and E body pins.

I polished mine with a rubber fine inpregnated deburring wheel then hit it with a buffer.
