Lower gear for A-518?

Can the low gear in a a-518 be changed? I will be using a 3.55 rr so a lower gear for launch would be nice.

I don't see why an aftermarket low gear set for a 727 wouldn't fit in an A518. Contact this guy he has been doing torqueflites forever and could tell you. Here is a link to his ebay store.
