hi y'all

im working on my 67 barracuda restification. problem im having is the lower steering column bearing. car was originally a 3 speed manual on the column. i tore down the column to gut and make a floor shift column out of it. this column was not going to work, so i purchased an automatic column shift column to use instead.

problem is the lower column bearing is pretty crusty, and the plastic carrier is cracked. i have found this part on ebay for 68 and 69 A and B body but it looks nothing like what i have , whats also weird is that the steering column metal tube has 2 holes to bolt in the plastic bearing carrier to it but the plastic carrier i have thats cracked has no bosses cast in for bolts.

the replacement ones on ebay are pricey $80 a pop. if i can use it, i dont mind buying one, but for $80 i am not going to modify one to fit.

anybody know where i can get a 67 style lower column bearing carrier, or maybe have a used one i can buy from you. i cleaned up the bearing assembly form my old 3 speed column, just need the plastic housing.

thanks in advance
matt
