I am finally installing my new 3:91 suregrip third member! I need to know how many quarts and what weight and additive I should use. Thanks as always for y'all's help and knowledge!

They have special gear lube that states that it's for sure grip/posi rear ends.

I believe 2-3 quarts will fill it (or whatever size it comes in - grab 3).

Full it up til it runs out of the filler hole. Don't forgt to put the additive in first.

I am also running the green bearings. So, do I use the axle shaft seals as well?

Sometimes I'm so damn happy I could just $h#t

The Chrysler dealer sells the special sure grip additive in small bottles. One should do you, they will know what you are after and should have it in stock. You still run the inner seals with green bearings. Fill until it drools out the hole.

Wow , dont you need a special tool to put the lude in ? LOL
