Sadly, 33 years ago today (1977), we lost one of the best rock and roll bands ever in this world. They are truly missed, their music lives on forever.

RIP

Strong roots here in Georgia.

I know a few top brass local cops that were good friends with some of the band members.

Seem to have been real stand up, good ol American boys that would not hurt a soul, black or white.

They are still touring you know, and love doing the freedom concerts with Sean Hannity.

Long liv there great music we have needed in our life's.

Zach Williams and The Reformation Biography

Had Zach Williams and The Reformation (ZWR) come along as a band thirty years ago instead of in 2008, there is a good chance they would be a household name today. Maybe it’s their Northern Arkansas roots. Maybe it’s their throwback longhaired looks. But more likely, it’s the throwback talent oozing from this five-piece rock band, who at various times remind listeners of the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd or The Black Crowes. Bassist Red Dorton says fans also compare them to the fictitious band Stillwater from the movie Almost Famous. In fact, it’s been said that ZWR look and sound like they stepped off a bus from 1975, and truer words have never been spoken.
