Some of mine are from 20 years ago or so. Hot Rod,Mopar Muscle, Mopar Action,sales ads and show displays for Mopar Performance.

This is going to take the OP’s idea off track- sorry but I will ask… how does one even get in the loop for being asked to be on a cover? Being in New England, we barely see that kind of coverage. Little to no tv coverage, we are truely the red headed step children of the car world. lol.

Sometimes it's just being in the right place at the right time.
The black 'Cuda was seen on the Power Tour and we were approached by the Mopar Performance people.
Tho different years all were.

I do remember that article in the magazine and I believe I still have it somewhere ? Car came out of Quebec Canada iirc. One of one moulin Rouge and painted roof. Very unique, beautiful example of a duster. Can't imagine what it would bring now after seeing the latest results?

From 92 to summer 93, I owned the red '86 CS turbo Daytona under the word "Selling".

Awesome. I remember seeing more than a few of those in magazines. And a couple of them in person. Thanks for posting.
 
Bazza's '71 VG Mexicana came "this close" to being a magazine car in 2017.

The guys from Mopar Muscle did a "shoot" after this show (Mopars in the Park in Farmington, MN.), and they claimed it was going to be in the "next edition". But it never came to be, for some reason.

They did reach out to him a year or so later, but by then the car wasn't running, so once again- no joy.

When i owned this 71 Hemi GTX 4 speed car, it was featured in a magazine titled Muscle Cars of the 60's and 70's.

I was in Mopar Action during 2022 MCACN coverage. Hoping to still get in MCG yet, Tim did a couple shoots of the car.

My Green Challenger has been in a few magazines, I finished restoring it in early August 1996, took it to it's first show in Las Vegas August 23-25 "The Pacific Nationals" A Car show in August in Vegas... How could it get any better??? High Performance Mopar did a shoot there at the track, it appeared in their July 97 edition...

Then in 2006 when the new Challenger Prototype was doing press showings the was a call for vintage Challengers posted on Moparts... They were looking for Orange cars but the photographer liked the look of my car... It must have worked cause my car got a few really good photos....

Well, that was just one photographer but he was connected to eight different magazines worldwide that all ran the story of of what at the time was a prototype but in the article was the announcement of the planned release...

Then in 2007 I was at a car gathering/lunch and was approached about another shoot.. well...

I have other cars that have been shot but never published, I have other shoots with the green car... For some reason it gets more attention than my red car...
