Magnum lifter clips

I've read somewhere here about changing the wire clips inside the magnum rollers to steel spring clips.

I'm asking now because while cleaning some lifters one of rhe wire clips got away from me so I either need to find a replacement for the wire one or change them to something better.

Any one done this with factory lifters?

I lost a wire clip too while cleaning magnum lifters. Replaced it will a big block chevy (iirc) clip. Worked fine.

Now if I only had some BB chevy lifters laying around. lol.

Good to know they aren't like unobtanium though. There must be a standard part a person get buy.

I haven't been able to find the clips for sale but if it comes down to it, getting some clips at the local yard is free, though it sucks to do.
