Is it possible to remove the lifters without pulling the intake ? Just asking . Thanks Also do you think roller lifter would need to be replaced with over 200,000 miles

Never had a magnum apartThat would be quite a trick.
Well that would suckAlso, but I'm not 100% sure on this, you may have to pull the heads to get the taller roller lifters out...
Na, the stock rollers lifters come out without pulling the heads. Also, but I'm not 100% sure on this, you may have to pull the heads to get the taller roller lifters out...
Good to know.Na, the stock rollers lifters come out without pulling the heads.
Thats why I made sure to say “stock”As a note, with Johnson Magnum lifters the 4 end ones won't go in with the heads on.![]()
It may just be LA blocks with aftermarket heads that they won't come out of. I've got Morel hydraulic rollers in my 273. Lifter bores are sleeved with sleeves maybe 1/16 above the top of the bores and my lifters will come out and go in with the heads on. I used 302 heads on my motor.Good to know.
I know retrofit rollers don't come out of a LA block (which have shorter lifter bores) with the heads in place, but I wasn't positive about the factory rollers in a Magnum. Never had occasion to try.
