When i make it, i just get the butcher to slice up a roast real thin, then i put it all in a container, put some soya sauce in, lots of garlic, and spices (what ever you like) cajun spice or some good hot pepper sauce. Brown sugar if you like the teryiaki way. I put some ginger ale in it sometimes too, just to get some sugar in there if i'm not using the brown sugar. Some water and let er sit for a day or so, then put it in your dehydrator and in no time you got some good jerky.. I used to have to make it hot as hell so my boys wouldn't eat it all on me, but they got immuned to it and liked it better then the wimpy stuff so in the end they ate all of it up too *LOL*
