Mancini Manual Steering Gear

probably depends on tooth length and profile in the box... although when you look at the parts for ford trucks cars and tractors you'd be hard pushed to see much difference

they, seem to have followed the same path as mopar and GM... either used or copied saginaw.
they all look like saginaw 525 boxes just varied dimensions one way or another
all just 1 circuit or 2 circuit (balls) variations on this

My truck's box is a Saginaw.

Follow up: I took the car out this past weekend. The steering is amazing, but really I don't have much to compare it to; since I went from a completely worn out sloppy 24:1 gear, to a new 20:1. I mean, it feels like I installed power steering. It's amazing. The 20:1 is really a good all around ratio that seems appropriate for daily/street driven cars. All in all, I think this is a great deal from Mancini if you're looking for a stock gear.

Mancini doesn't state, but as I said in the video; the case looks to be OE but media blasted, and the input and output shafts look to be new.

Is the case aluminum or iron.

Earlier repro's had iron cases.

I plan to switch to manual steering using this PST/Kanter 20:1 box. About the same price as Mancini and hopefully I can get them to honor the FABO discount.

I have a nice PST 24:1 that I was gonna use but I had a 20:1 in my Dart and didn't find the steering difficult unless at 5 mph or less. And even then it wasn't bad.

This one you linked here looks exactly the same as the Mancini unit. What the heck is the cotter pin for that's in the fill plug. Strange.
