I need a little help from the brain trust. 1970 Dart(was 340)440 w/fenderwall headers,disc/drum,manual brakes.Having a hard time finding a master cylinder.Parts house have listing,but comes back not available.Any ideas???????? .

yeah there in short supply now i dont know what happened i got my last one from car quest you might have to rebuild the one you got good luck hopefully you find one

I have one of these on my 67 cuda with disc/drum brakes. Works great. They are available at local parts houses for cheaper price. Chrysler mini vans uses this type. Need to make or buy adapter plate. They weigh far less than the standard MC as well.

Thanks,can't use the plastic reservoir with fenderwell headers.
Try Rock Auto.
O'Reilley came thru.1st time I used them.Napa,Autozone and Advanced wouldn't help.

A master cylinder for a '74 Charger with manual disc brakes works great and only runs 25 bucks. That's what I have on my Valiant. File away for future reference?
You can also try this guy. He specializes in brake parts for Mopars. I've bought a few master cylinders from him. He rebuilds them like new.
