Matt (@Badvert65) owns and operates "Mattman's Mopars" and specializes in some pretty nice specialty slant 6 only items.

Here is his ebay page:
Mattman's Mopars

I got this from him today. It's an aluminum valve cover spacer to space the valve cover up if you're running some really nice roller rockers that require more room, or if you're like me and are running some longer than stock valves. I have the 318 valves in my unicorn head and the rockers hit the stock cover in the rear when the camshaft opened the valves. This spacer is 3/8" thick and will give at least 1/2" extra clearance when using a valve cover gasket on each side.

It comes packaged nicely.

With cool slant 6 stickers!

The spacer itself is really nice.

It fits the head very well. My valve cover is still soaking in purple stuff. When I get it primed and painted, I'll include some more pictures. I plan in using a stud kit for the valve cover. We really need to support guys like Matt. He provides some really nice parts and accessories for our slant sixes.

Thanks for the kind words, Rob. I appreciate all the feedback I get as it helps to improve the products. I am always looking to add new items to the inventory.
I am actually working on a spacer/adapter for the later style hydro heads. One that will let the early style valve covers fit the later style heads. Unfortunately, I don't have a timeline as to when it will be available. One of many things in development.

So it will be able to do the reverse also? I have a 69 slant six and a later Clifford valve cover I would like to use...

I must say it's great to see things like this getting some well needed attention, looking forward to seeing what his stock of parts are he has ready.

How about a piece of sheet metal or some such thing that attaches to the inside of the valve cover on the lower side, and extends below the head surface slightly, making oil leaks impossible? That would be a useful item.
