Mechanical fuel pumps

Are mechanical fuel pumps the same for big block (440) and small block (340)?

I'm not 100% George but I think they're different. The arm I believe is a little longer on a small block pumpcause it rides on the eccentric at the front of the cam and the BB uses the pushrod setup.

They are NOT the same

sb has a long arm attached to it and rides on an eccentric, BB has a shorter arm and a pushrod between the cam and arm

George, your local Car Quest or Napa can get them new, or the usual aftermarket Summit or Mancini.
