is the bolt pattern on the mid 80's dodge trucks 5 x 41/2? have a local with 4 15 " wheels -- just asking some questions ,thanks Lawrence

1/2 ton 2 WD and maybe 4 WD , im almost positive they are 15x6.5 or 7 and 4 1/2. man what a score, i wish those damn things would pop up around here. im pretty sure all 1/2 ton trucks are 5 on 4 1/2

If it is a 5 bolt pattern, yes.

5 inch bolt pattern on mid eighties trucks.

I used to have an 85' Ram 150 2WD. I do know that in 85 they went to a larger bolt pattern and remember the wheels off of my Uncle's 84' would not fit. I don't remember what the bolt pattern measured but I bet they went from 4 inch to 4 1/2 " in 85.

Yes, the change in bolt pattern was between '84 and '85 model years. It went from the 4 1/2" pattern to the 5 1/2". The earlier 4 X 4's had the big pattern also.

It's 5.5. I went out and checked my '88 Ram.

Those early Dakotas were also a 5 on 4.5", until they went to those damn 6 bolt wheels.

Pre-1974 was 5 on 5.5"

In 1980 The 4x4's switched back to the 5 on 5.5" Bolt Pattern, 2WD's switched to 5 on 5.5" in Late 1984 / Early 1985.
