sad story , what you see are the remnants of a 30 year hobby , the guy passed away a few years ago & the case finally made it thru probate , ive been waiting & the stuff is now available for sale , but by the time you see the pics most of it will probably be gone , what you dont see is the pole barn with the partially restored t/a challenger , 15-25 340's , r3 blocks , w2 heads , track car , piles of aluminum intakes , carbs , 8.75s , & on and on.kind of sad , oh well....

It's always fun to find a load like that.... always makes you wonder where more of that stuff is hiding that nobody knows about.

its located in a small town off the only highway that goes thru it , what you dont see is the 6 inches of water that the cars are sitting in & have been for years. he passed away about 2 years ago (in his 50's sad) & i made contact with his twin brother & was waiting for it to get thru probate & he passed away 1 year after his brother & then the x his kids finally settled on a deal & then the vultures came out & all of a sudden everyone amazingly had theyre stuff stored there , so about everything i looked @ someone had laid claim to & was told if i found something i liked to look @ the piece next to it cause what i want is probably someone elses ! i brought a friend with me & we were able to get a few things @ a good price but it took a couple of days just to get a price on anything worth getting. on the cars the floors & frames are gone if its not up in the air . at first it looked promising & then got pretty sad after seeing what the water had done .

Its a shame the way some people hang on to these cars and just let them rot away.

I agree...they wait and wait and lose motivation then they are a-holes if you come around trying to buy anything...then they die.

And the cars they hoard rot.

We have a guy here in town like that.

He has 6-7 cuda's and a bunch of B body cars in his shiz covered lot...the city is always on his *** but he wont sell or get rid of them.

Sad cause I have seen them and they are rotting away. :angry7:

thanks for sharing the pictures-- the possiblities were good while waiting though. Man! that was alot of cars-- Lawrence

i see what looks like a valiant wagon truned into a ute,,

How do you find this many cars? There is a lot of potential there, I hope they all find new homes.

It's amazing what you can find just driving around out in the country problem is these spots with hidden Mopars are drying up and most cars are parts cars at that, I have found the same deal but it was 10+ years ago and the guy had 2 73-74 Chargers one which was a 73 Rallye 340 car
but they were parts cars because they had been sitting since the early 80's and they were on the ground! I salvaged the 400 and 340 and the power bulge hood, and alot of trim parts. Those cars seen in the picture were trim, tailight, grille, maybe some fenders and roof sections although that one Duster looked like swiss cheese! I really got a kick out of the Charger that said "Chevy buster" on the tailpanel and the crazy paint scheme on the Cuda, It is a shame to see the cars sitting but thats what happens when people are going to get around to fixing them up! I hate it, I have my 1971 Challenger and my 1972 Dart and that will be more than enough for me until the new Challengers start coming down in value!!:-D
