Midwest Mopars in the Park 2025 Farmington, Minnesota

Could be the coolest it has been since I have been going, darn global warming...LOL..
Rhino, 3 years ago I wore a wind breaker jacket the whole weekend, Marie's first trip. BUT, 4 years ago it was 100+ everyday. I remember my temp gauge reading before starting the car on Sat afternoon. Was the first time there with the Demon. The drive home hurt!

Keep your eyes peeled.

Was at the Swap Meet on Friday, and took a short walk to the car corral. There it was all original and original owner as her husband had passed away and it was time to sell the car.

It was around noon and I was very lucky to be the first one to look at it and ended up buying it. The people were lining up behind me wanting to make a deal. I was first in line to purchase and the owner honored that.

Had I hesitated it would have been gone.

Added the wheels and a 4 barrel, owned it for 3 years. Sold it to a mopar guy out of Northern Minnesota that still had his all rusted out '69 Satellite from his days gone by > same color green.

He came out and took one look at it without even driving it and said: I want this car. Went and transferred the title and he drove it home.

Great deal for all parties involved. 37,000 miles... Mint.

Glad the show is back in Farmington again for 2025.

Come to think of it I had also bought the '76 D100 a few years prior to buying the '69 Satellite at Mopars in the Park > Farmington.

Was there with about 5 friends and said: somebody needs to buy this truck, such a rust free body.

Guess that somebody ended up being me.

Good era of truck, non- computerized simple basic wiring and a nice looking dash and gauges.

That one had 47,000 miles and came out of North Dakota.

Always fun looking, never know when the "Keepers" are going to show up.
