how much would i need to mill the heads on a 8.4:1 360 to reach 9:1 safely? Its a 77' smoger. Any help is appreciated

what head gaskets are you planing to use ........and what pistons are they....there is a ration on volume get the formula it will be self expanitory...also possible thought change pistons to higher comperssion..might be easier perminat fix

was looking at a kit from summit with these pistons...But im unsure of stock head cc...just considering this, any help would be great so i don't make a disastrous mistake

Not to high jack this thread, but I have the same question.
I have stock pistons and I'm wondering how far I can go before bad things happen!

Whats the height from crankshaft centerline to the block deck? Heads are probably 72-73 cc's.
