i got a 63 valiant, i have the inside rear view and the outside mirror. thye are obviously old and they move around a lot. can i fix that or do i need to get some new ones. if i need new ones, do yall have any????

If you take down the inside mirror you will see a metal plate under the base. The plate bolts down against a ball joint. Remove the plate, set it on a hard metal surface and hit it with a hammer a few times. Then reinstall it. This usually makes the ball joint much tighter and saves you from needing a new mirror!

That's fine with the later mirrors (allthough I prefer a vise) but a '63 has a fixed base and only pivots at the mirror head.
