Try Just Clips in Ohio they are on the web. I shipped them a clip and they matched it for my 69 Dart. Good people to deal with.

Here is the site where I'm gonna get mine. (Mines a 70 but they have all years)

dang 6 bucks shipping

BUT search for the SAME pump (but call it a 65 mustang pump instead) and it'll cost ya 31 bucks.

FREE shipping! a 36 dollar savings!
same motor same grommets, same number on it too! and same or close to it shipping costs (sometimes same vendor), but 1/2 the price. I've found it that way for a couple of items that way. I always check for a chebby for rustang part that is trhe same or similar as the mopars(molding clips and screws).

See? I totally agree with this, just because it says Mopar, people cash in. Time to bring the power back.

Screw the 'Mopar Mark-up'

It's all about how many are sold.I have no idea how many Mustang parts are sold vs Dart.If you really want to bring the price down instead of just buying 10 buy 100 or 1000.

Lol, I did that and the mustang pump didn't fit the holes, so I ordered the 66 dart one and guess what? You're right, identical and it didn't fit either!! Go figure?

Has anyone had problems with Layson's Restorations?

I've only had good luck with them. There's a member on here from laysons, I think it's Dan. He has been very helpful. Only problem is their website is tough to navigate

I was just asking it the first time I've ordered from them. And I'm having some trouble with their billing dept.

hmm I just put my new "mustang" washer pump on my inner fender and it fit perfectly(/6 , 66 dart convertible) lined up good on the wife's v8 convertible too. BUT I tried it on a (partial car) 66 more door and it didn't! 1 hole was off by a good bit, so you got me on that one. I remember going into the junk yards and taking them off mustangs (way back) to put on my older cars 45-49 merc's mainly, coupla dropped fords.) I wish I'd have kept the last 40's merc.. anyway I mounted them near the tail pipe for flamers. always in the same holes as I first made.
and as a gas tank for them I used the Bags that came from some mopars and fords in the yards, talk about UNSAFE but FUN!. (hey I was really young:D and I loved shooting 20 foot flames!) I could get about 4 months out of each one before the diesel ate the o rings. you could spray a LOT of diesel through that baby before it gave out. I always grabbed 3 or more in each yard I went to till I grew up a little. I still had a couple left when I migrated to Mopar and discovered the fit dart pump=mustang pump@1/2 the price.
