molding studs

On my scamp along the the rockers between the wheel wells there are little studs sticking out? Not much more then a 1/4in My question is what is the best way to remove these?

i took a cut off wheel ,trimmed them off and then used a 60 grit flap wheel and finished them off nice, smooth and flush. im sure there are other methods but this worked great for me. dont overheat the metal.
