i was reading may's edition of Hot Rod Magazine and came across an article with a GSS dart, another one of Norm Kraus's wild ideas. it was a street version of an SS/AA car. out of all the wild parts, one really caught my eye-the Cal-Tracs mono-leaf setup, similar to the leaf-link. The problem is, i cant find the Cal-Tracs site and get more info. summit doesnt carry them either. i jus wanna know how good they are for a weekend worrior BB 67 Barracuda that'll c some track competitions. thanx

i have the caltracs set up on my 74 duster, and it works great, and not that expensive

slide a links ? The comp engineering units like Cal tracs?

never really messed with them.i was turning 1.6 60 fts.with them.but i have ss springs on my cruiser so i took them out and put them in my drag car.was told i would like them better.

car launched really nice.i guess i should not have spent all that money on them without researching them alittle.i am not really sure how to properly adjust them.the car launched straight.did not spin.so i am not sure why i am getting rid of them.other than the ss springs i don't have to worry about adjustments.the slide a links gave it a pretty mean look

What did they run you and a cost compare to Cal-tracs?
