A year or so ago there was a blip on the local news about maybe seeing a launch in my area.
I remembered somewhat later and took a stroll to my yard just in time to see 20 or so of them all lined up and zipping across the sky. Stroke of luck there.

We didn't know it then, but we used to see Vandenberg launches from out in the middle of the Mojave desert.
