I've searched and there have been posts about this but I am still confused and I would like to hopefully only do this once. I'm finally putting together my 8.75 with big bolt axles with green bearings from Dr.Diff. what came out from my stock axles was I believe 2 gaskets (metal and white foam) but now I have 3 gaskets supplied by Dr.Diff

From left to right they are metal, white foam, and what appears to be thick gasket material.
In what order do I install everything?
Would it be from inside out:
Housing flange
Metal gasket
Gasket material
Brake backing plate
White foam
Axle flange
Then torque to spec?

I just did this. The metal goes between the backing plate and axle flange, the foam between the axle retainer and backing plate. The paper comes with the green bearings and is used in place of the foam.

Use either one you want, just not both. Keep the other as a spare when you pull the axles again in case you rip the other gasket.
