Here are a few of my pictures from MoPars Invade MoKan 2014. If anyone else has any pictures post them here please. It was a great turn out with awesome weather and a good swap meet! I found some good parts for my 68 Cuda projectnthat Im working on! Car I brought is the white Duster and thyats my friend Matt's 71 GTX.

Super cool story on the black 50 plymouth coupe in the 3rd pic. The guy has had the car since he was 15, He raced it there at Mo-Kan back in the early 60's. He showed me pics from when it was his mothers car, and when he was at the track with it in 1961, you could see the date on the photos! It is now 360 powered with commando valve covers, and it has A/c! Back in the 60's it had a poly 318. He also had pics from when he drove the car to Bonneville.
 
I was there but forgot my camera. Talked to a couple of members at the swap meet area. Can't remember their names but one was from Anthony and the other Overbrook Kansas. Took my 69 dart drag car there and made three passes before my drivers side header broke. Fastest was 10.14 at 132.55 mph. It was a great day with lots of awesome cars. I was hoping someone got a picture of my car. It was the bright orange dart.
 
We should have setup a FABO meet and greet area.
 
My car is the black primered 71 that was spinning the tires bad. It was a great event I go every year it is my home track. We really do need to set up a meet next time. Need to update my pic.
 
It was a good time. I met Jeff over at the swap meet area while I was talking to Clay who is also on this sight. A-body cars were well represented this year with many racing. I'm glad I drove out for it.

wow sounds like you have a great running car there. can you tell me about it? engine specks etc. thanks for the pics every one. I have planed on going to this race sense the end of February and was all ready to go until i got sick last Tuesday. was really hoping to best my bast pass of 10.49 in my dart.
Oh how fast was the green and purple duster in the pics? hopefully i will have my 73 duster out there next year.mopar65

I was in the stands and saw you loading up your Dart, was wondering why you would be leaving... Nice Dart!
 
It was one of the best turn outs I had seen there[home track] even tho I never made it to watch races up close my wife an 2 sons watched while I was in the swap meet part shooting the **** with the many parts venders/swap meet/racers which also was the best one I'd seen,prob in excess of 200 cars and tons of parts...altho I didnt buy a damn thing it was a blast and seen people I hadnt seen for awhile,was lots of a-bodies of all configurations...was really fun,seen a black a-100 turned into a dually with a 09 bed and a 440 drivetrain that was beyond kool that is a member here from kansas..dodgedude or something along those lines...I agree we need to get the Fabo guys together for next year since I see alot of them were there that I havent met.....
 
This year was my first time ever going to MoKan, and I had a great time. We spent most of the day selling parts at the swap meet area, but did get a chance to wander around and check out some of the other stuff as well. I had the chance to visit with Sean quite a bit, and also met Jeff after his car had broke and he was wondering through the swap meet area. Wish I would have known there were so many others from the site on here. The A-bodies did a heck of a job representing there and there was some others that were super cool as well.

[/URL][/IMG] I really loved this purple Challenger and the story behind it was great. The red one was cool in the fact that it had over 588,000 miles on it!

[/URL][/IMG] I saw the yellow 'Cuda on a trailer, such a shame that people will take away the primary purpose of a car, to be driven. It was a fun event with tons of sweet cars! I look forward to going back next year
 
We had a good time also. Bought a few things at the swap meet, checked out a bunch of cars and watched some drag racing. Maybe next year we can plan an A bodies meet up and all park in the same area. Hopefully my engine will be done by this time next year?!?!

Let's start ahead of time and get a place to meet up next year. At least someone can scribble FABO on a piece of paper and we can meet up.
