I found this on my local CL. I don't see many Mopar power plants in brand X cars as much as you see it the other way around.

Time to clean out the garage! I have a 1995 Mustang for sale. This car has a 1977 block 318 Mopar engine with a 727 Torqueflite transmission behind it. Yes... Ford with a Mopar powerplant. I traded an S-10 drag truck that I built for this car... because it is unique.

This car was a dragstrip car!

318cu. in engine
Aluminum intake with 600cfm Holley carb
Headers w/3" Flowmaster H pipe exhaust
727 Torqueflite Trans w/ shift kit and 2800 stall convertor and trans cooler
Hurst ProMatic 2 Shifter
Koni Shocks
4 core radiator
CenterLine wheels
4:11 geared posi rearend
No hood

$2500? Make a offer...Someone in the area needs to check that out. It looks like it could be a fun car to beat on for a bracket season or two. Get some runs out of it, and then part it out if need be.....just sayin'. I'd look at it if I had the cash.

cool. I am sooo tired of seeing a small block chevy in everything.:pukeleft:
guy here in vegas found a complete running 41 dodge truck, what did he do? you guessed it, put a chevy 350 in it with Camaro wheels:wack:

Years ago at Monster Mopar Week in Madison .IL the was a 440 powered 1980s camaro......nice neat insallatuion. I got a lot attention because ofit being GM:violent1::violent1:

I should go join a 'Stang forum just so I can post this, LOL

Replace a few more parts like the body, interior and badges, and you'll have a decent car!

That would be a ton of fun. Who gives a flying F@&$ what brand X it is. If I was close I'd take it to the strip, beat the chit out of it, have a blast for a while and either sell it as is and make money on it or part it out. Either way you will come out on top. Lots of parts that can be used on mopar drivetrain.

Don't want or need to sell it...
Would like it gone.

I love his wording.

Back in the late 70's, I saw a 1969 camaro with a 426 HEMI in it.
The guy had a '70 HEMI Cuda & crashed it.
he transplated everything from it into the Camaro.
