This one Rusty? Looks like an old military M886 ambulance. I like it too!!

You have Gladys running again, are you sure you want another project?

Yeah that one. And yes, I got Gladys running. Replaced the P/D pump tonight. Gotta adjust the clutch tomorrow and then I can test drive her.

Definitely recognized as military immediatly, but aren't ambulance bodies usually taller in back so you can stand up. Same body probably used for Radio gear & other uses.

Al, how often do you get poison ivy going to these places? I itch by just looking at some of your great photos!
:BangHead: :poke:  I find all these on Facebook market place ! But the actual ones I do get we've been ok .

This one was down in Fort Myers area, behind a bodyshop, grown over in the woods .

Looks like a good taillight and the bumper looks straight

How did a bug eye get in the mix ....
Dose it at least have a slant in it

Maybe a Toad nearby !:poke:

I just like it !
They were going for big bucks for a while. Recently saw one for sale, somewhere w/a v8 in it don't remember which one, just know it was iron and much structure had to have been cut out, & probably a full frame or front frame clip, at least, added.

I have a 65 sprite ...
Its in great shape but needs main bearings
Very common they are soft
Funny thing is the doors are too short and with the top on Very hard to get in and out
