Mopars in the WILD

-
4wd Tyoda Previa van(jellybean) would be a great flat platform for something. Has a laydown engine. Some rear drives have 4 wheel independant suspension(front strut, rear dbl wishbone). Some have 4 wheel disc brakes. Could achieve a very low C/G.
Only a 4 cylinder, but some are supercharged. Early ones have a 5 speed manual trans. Almost 50/50 F/R weight, due to accessories in front of Mid-Engine placement & shaft driven for front hood access.
After 2000 front engine on Camry platform, so not as flexible.

Mopar in the wild?
Found this one in the parking lot of my bank. I've seen it driving around, a few times. I don't know if it's real or not. I forgot to look at the back window. (Thinking about it, must be a clone. No vinyl roof.)

It spent its life in a cemetery.....
Had original title...sad to say got lost(maybe)
Needs full restoration...but not much rust so not a horrible job ....on the bucket list

On rear fender it says Mt Angel AutoBody, so I looked it up.
Went right there, pic shows 2 Chargers in front of shop. Click photos. meh! Click facebook, there's a purple Daytona Vert, so I'd bet this one's a clone, too.
They'll probably build you one. Notsure if Green one has RR back window.
Always though RR glass looks aero, but the air must come off window to the sides, losing downforce & leaving a dirty wake. At least it must not've work as well.

All you can say is it's done like the owner wanted. That's a sometimes Mantra on here. Daytona Vert a cool idea, but little too far, except as advertising.

Yes im sure a lot don't like what I have
Its what makes everyone special

i was watching a movie ,they were in europe (think spain)

That's as much Mopar as a pacer

No, much more Mopar than a Pacer:

Dual-Ghia is a rare, short-lived, automobile make produced in the United States between 1956 and 1962. Performance was excellent, due to the cars being powered by the 315 cu in (5.2 L) Dodge hemispherical-head short-stroke V-8 engine.

2nd Gen Dual-Ghia (1961 - 1963 - with 383 c.i.) were mostly bought by American celebrities, such as Frank Sinatra, Sterling Hayden and Richard Nixon. Desi Arnaz owned a Dual-Ghia, but the car was ruined in an accident. Additionally, Dean Martin owned a Dual-Ghia according to his son Ricci. Dean Martin can be seen driving the vehicle in the film Kiss Me, Stupid.

The 2nd Gen Dual Ghia was a great car:

This GTX has been sitting here next to a NY State route for months. I stopped to get a picture for this thread. It's not a junker by any stretch, but it hasn't moved in a long time. I wouldn't leave it there. A guy skilled with his tilt bed tow truck could have it gone in a couple minutes.

While I stopped to get a pic of the GTX, I saw this across the street. Dart was gone 10 hours later but the GTX was still there. Does a member here own it?
