Back in late 1980 a friend of mine (he had a '65 GT 273 four barrel) was told by a guy that he had one of those for sale. Yeah, right. No, it was right, sort of. What he had was a 1967 Dart GT Rally package (handling package, disc brakes) with a 273 four barrel, console tach, 3.23SG 8-3/4. Said it needed a water pump and radiator to run. Didn't mention that it needed those from a head-on collision the night he graduated from high school (1974). The accident shoved the engine and trans back far enough to break the distributor cap against the firewall. We should have restored the car, but we did grab all the good parts. In order to get the rear end out we had to get the car off the top of it as it was in a horse pasture with piles of wood along the right side and rear. This is how we left it and it was like this for nearly 10 years, maybe more.

That one is definitely tits up.

Rather than bounce around the interwebs looking, I'll just post photos I personally took so I can give a bit of background about the car if I know any.

First up, 1969 Road Runner hardtop, mid-year build, Bahama Yellow w/late stripe. 383/A833, N96. Parked in 1979; I took these in '03. Garage has since been demolished and restoration was started, but I lost track of it and don't know its fate.

1966 Satellite, Hemi/4-speed/3.54 Dana, manual steering & brakes. Factory red/black top & interior. The owner started restoration and just sorta lost interest despite having most of the parts including the original engine/transmission. It had been sitting for years. He died not long after I took these and I've no idea of the car's fate. He'd have sold it that day for $24,000.

Same guy, similar neglect. 1964 Plymouth Maxie 4-speed. Building fell on it, never bothered to fix it. It was a genuine Max Wedge car, but the block was a 440.

1967 GTX, 440/auto former drag car. White, red interior. Just chillin' in the field it had occupied for years. A few weeks later it was gone.

'70 Super Bee, 383/4-speed, Vitamin C. Overall it was pretty solid. It sat at his first shop, then behind this shop for several years. I believe it's now restored or in-process.

At the same shop, with the same story about sitting for years. He bought this car for his wife but never did anything with it in over a decade. She has since died; I'm not sure what became of it. '71 Challenger R/T, 383/console auto. K5, white top & stripes, tan gut. The stripes are the originals and are below the level of the paint.

Same guy yet again, this one sitting at his old place. '70 Road Runner, 383/unknown (too carved up to tell). Top Banana, rare Power Wagon option?

I never did investigate this Challenger. I think it was a parts car for the wife's.
