More prayers needed.

One of our neighbors sons in AZ had testicular cancer. Jason was only 16 or so when he was diagnosed. He went thru chemo/radiation....

Doug, I know it's been a while. Are you still available to talk? Things have been going down and I'd like to take the time to apologize.

PM me for my new email if you're still interested.

Surgery was yesterday.

Waiting for the biopsy so they can put in a treatment plan.

From experience the biopsy will take a couple of days. The hospital has a cancer center next door, but the tissue will be sent out to Rochester for testing, too. Until the tissue is sampled from both places they won't touch a treatment plan.

The biopsy is back.

They'll be going in and taking his lymphnodes in the groin area next as the cancer spread.

His first visit with an oncologist is coming after Christmas and from there a pretty aggressive treatment plan of chemo awaits.

He's got a long road a head of him.

I will be praying for this young man as God brings His healing hand upon him, and eases the pain he has in his heart as well!! May God bless him with peace and comfort as long as he needs it!!

His and my niece's baby girl. She's a few months away from being two.

Biopsy is back on the lymphnodes. It spread hot and heavy. Stage 3 in the lymphnodes. He's being referred out to the Wilmot Cancer Institute at Strong Memorial in Rochester. For those of you remember the details, yes, this is the same place Sarah was referred to when we found her brain tumor.

It's the only place in the area that's got the know-how and facilities to take if from here.

Update time.

Last weekend my nephew and I escorted them to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester to begin a week of chemo.

The cancer markers were coming back way high and the folks at the Wilmot Cancer Center weren't impressed the local hospital opened him up to take a nut without beginning chemo first. His oncologist is really concerned the markers are about twice as high as they should be with a tumored ******** removed and nothing showed up on the PET scan.

He has to travel back to Rochester on Monday this week and Monday next week, then back for a another full week then Monday, Monday, full week, Monday, Monday, full week. Luckily the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge is able to put them up for the weeks they need to stay.

In a bit of irony, the first room they were in was right next door to the room I stayed in while Sarah was in a coma.

Pretty hard on the family as they missed Miss Emilee something fierce that week and Miss Emilee cried for about the first day they weren't at home.

I am asking a favor. The family has started a gofundme. If you have a few bucks to help offset the cost of the travel and meals it would be greatly appreciated. And, of course, prayers are still welcomed, now more than ever as Jeremiah's facing a long road ahead of him to get to where he's going.

Please remember my niece in those prayers, too. As someone who's been there and done that the role of caretaker can be physically and emotionally draining and can effect her health, mentally, spiritually, and physically, in the long run.
