MPG anticipation?

With that combo, I highly recommend not,NOT, to run the wide ratio904. The rpm drops are quite deep. Further more with 3.73s your speed at 6500rpm will be 53 with the 2.45 tranny and 47.6 with the 2.74 unit. Both units will force a shift.
In tell you what tho, 3.55s and 28s will get you 60 at 6575 with 5% slip, and no shift, with the 245 low tranny.
Anyway, with the 2.74 outshifting at 47.6mph(6500rpm), the Rs will drop to 3650.Check your dyno chart and see how much power you now have compared to peak.
It's even worse on the 2-3 shift.
If you need more TM, use a bigger rear gear, or a higher stall.
I think those little rollers are gonna embarrass you.

574 cam 1.6 rockers, .298 duration @.50 .236
-dynod at 484HP, 490ft/lbs, half filled block
-roller cam, hyd lifters
How does a roller cam go from 298*advertised to 236* @.050?

Itell you what tho
that combo is gonna be evil. Under 6 pounds per hp.
You might as well tub it now and put the tallest tires you can find under there, and a cage of course. You have the potential to go 10.4/129. And your tires?
Well you might as well put 3.23s in there, and hit 61.5 with the 2.45 low and those 26.5ers. I mean it's gonna be spinning the whole way anyway......What's the difference if the tires are spinning waaaaay faster than roadspeed or just waaaay faster, or waaay faster,or.........................lol.
I'm not jealous, honest.

You're talking a little over my head with all that tranny and gear stuff.

I won't be doing any 6500 I don't think, on engine dyno they topped it out at 6000. It didn't make any more power at that point, that is why I mentioned the hydraulic and solid lifters. ATI had all my specs, and knew the tire size projections for this project and buily my TC based on this and they recommended 3.73s at the least, saying anything under 3.73s will be wasting the TC. Now obviusly that all changes a little with tire sizes but 1" in difference won't make that much change, and I cannot run 25" tires, that's too small.

Very slow ramps. Should be easy on springs.
