Well after some discussion and the inability to hear our children in the backseat while cruising we decided to dump the Flowmasters. its a 340 with Hooker headers, 2 1/4 pipes no crossover. The first sound bite is the old flowmasters

The interior noise is so reduced I cant believe it! I love it and she's getting used to it

i like it. sounds deeper to me too. i went dynomax super turbo's for the same reason. i love driving the car now. i can talk with tyler and jamie now.

I used those mufflers before as well. The interior racket is taken down to a sain notch. Then, I realized I had a stero that also worked!

At 70mph you couldnt hear the kids talk, you couldnt hear the radio, and we had to talk so loud to eachother when we took 3-4 hour trips we just wouldnt say anything! I like it for that reason alone just being able to talk, I think the sound is kinda cool and different now.

Not to mention your kids' ears will keep working before they reach 40. Nice choice on the new muffs, personally I think Flowmasters are now so old school that there's no really good reason to run them apart from the sound (which I don't like anyway).
