I hope to be racing my 67 coronet and my 67 barracuda.
Never raced two cars in a single day.

My son and I are going and we will have the 69 fastback.We are going up Saturday afternoon because a friend is running his car Saturday night,the guys from 1320(pinks) are having something and the NeonSRT guys are set to run on Saturday also.See you all there:cheers:

Thats the same day as the nostalgia event at n.e. dragway,way less crowded staging lanes and much better track..

I was going threw the cuda and getting it ready an one of my problems was ,it was always pulling to the left.
So i got my alignment done and then started hearing all sorts of noises coming from the front end after it was done.
The alignment took all the pressure off the bad ball joints and now there moving all over the place.
I had to order ball joints but they could not get here in time, so the cuda isn't going racing.

Then i was getting my coronet ready and could not believe what else i found.
My right rear slick was starting to show the threads coming threw.
I will not make it this year.
Well i guess it's a good thing ,because if i crashed, that would be a hole lot worse then staying home and trying to enjoy the day.:glasses2:

You guys missed a great show with outstanding weather,great people and some very sweet cars everywhere you looked.I personally enjoyed the Real LO23 Dart in the front row.

I saw the video already,I am wondering if there isn't more to this?I was there all day yesterday and yes it was packed tight and they were running around making room for peoples cars.I would like to know more than one side before I make a judgement about it.
Don't forget that Hemmings is a business,do you work for free?This is just my 2 cents of opinion,I am not making judgement for either side because it was a great day with a lot of cars of all makes and styles.

ive never been to this event,i only learned about it after it was over last year at E TOWN,, but i feel your pain,, drove to an event for the barracuda owners club back in the early 1980s drove from chicago to new hope PA,,, to be turned away at the entrance gate,,,registration was over at 10.30 am,, I was turned away at the gate at 10.25 am,, 850 mile ride,,

I've been to this one a few times, and not once has the person at the gate even known what to charge for admission. 2 years ago they would not let me in unless I paid full price for all 3 people in my car- as if they all had cars with them. I sent Hemmings an e-mail when I got home and they apologized and said they would refund all of my money- 6 months later after multiple follow-up e-mails from me, they finally sent me a check.
As I stated to them, it wasn't about the money, or the idiot at the gate, the problem was it took 6 months for them to keep their word, and in her last e-mail she explained how busy she was; I don't need to hear her problems.

On Sunday they charged me $20 for my car and 1 passenger; according to their own ads in HMM, it is $30 plus $20 for each passenger- total $50.

You're only as good as your last bad customer service experience.

i understand this event will be at ENGLISHTOWN in sept??? i was considering cancelling going to GOOD GUYS ROD & CUSTOM EVENT,,, sounds like it may be a bad idea ??

Lebanon valley is the worst run track i've EVER been to..the event at e-town in Sept. is a 2 day event...

I dunno guys. I went to the show and so did a bunch of my buddies. We all got in, were charged the correct admission price, had a great time & went home.

I'll be there next year too.
