I know there`s a lot of music lovers here on the site but we also love our cars, therefore we don`t want to go hacking up the dashes to put radios/ cd players in. I recently found a guy who can take my factory thumbwheel radio, gut it, and install an all new Am/Fm stereo board with 185 watts of power as well as inputs so that external CD or MP3 players can be plugged in. All of the controls including the pushbuttons will work normally. Has anybody had experience with this conversion? If so what did it cost? Turn around time? Who did it? Are you happy with it? What are you all using for tunes?

By using a little prudent shopping i bought a Kenwood amfm casette deck for my duster with good Kenwood speakers. The whole thing cost around $100. Hard to hear over the flowmasters, but definitely a lot of sound for the money.

As much as I love music, I deleted the radio opening in my dash when I re-did it. I figured between the Flowmasters and the lumpy idle why bother? I'd probably need at least 400W to hear it anyway....:shaking2:
