Mutliple explosions at finish line of Boston Marathon

-
Our Son lives really close to there. I just go off the phone with him and he said wow, this morning I was thinking about going down there to watch it right at the finish line...........

He lives 2 miles from the finish line.

There are a lot of sick people on this planet.
But must think positive of the good people.
Prayers for those affected.

New York post says... Investigators have a suspect — a Saudi Arabian national. But they also say... A law enforcement source confirmed to The Post that 12 people were killed and nearly 50 were injured in today's blast. There's going to be a lot of conflicting info as this unfolds.

Latest report Federal courthouse in Boston vacated due to bomb threat. There has been conflicting reports that a suspect was in custody but it's not true.

Sounds like they have "identified" a suspect. I'm not sure how helpful or desirable it is to release stuff like that before an arrest. Guess I won't be buyin' any more pressure cookers in the thrift store.

CNN is reporting that one of the two identified suspects of the bombing has been killed in a shootout with police in the Boston suburb of Watertown. The other one is still at large. They apparently shot and killed an MIT campus police officer and then led police on a high speed chase, during which they shot and critically wounded a transit cop.

With his partner in crime dead, I doubt the second one will be on the run for long. If he doesn't kill himself first, he won't get out of town alive. Scary thing is whether or not he'll plant another bomb somewhere before he checks out. The detective work on this was amazing!

they just took him into custody a short time ago- nice to see it end without any more innocent people getting hurt.

That is great. They got him in this boat after the homeowner found blood around it.

The first one tells about the blood.

WOW - hats off to all the police and detectives for a speedy resolve to this! Blessings to those and their families who gave their lives.

I have to agree that all the law enforcement involved really did a superb job bringing this to a quick conclusion. Of course, the digital age we live in with cameras everywhere helped too, but it still came down to good old fashioned police work that allowed an otherwise horrible week to end on a positive note. I grieve with families of the three beautiful people who lost their lives in Boston, and hope those injured, physically and emotionally, will be able to heal and get their lives back on track. God Bless them all!
