My 1965 Valiant wagon street/strip project

Wow, really impressed. My first car was a 66 Monaco with a 383 For $20.00 (mid 70's) then the second a 62 Olds Dynamic 88 I made into a 2 door by welding the back doors shut and put a piece of lexan in from the rear to the front door jam for the side window. Just have a thing for the old wagons I guess. Didn't they make those rear grab bars for that model on either side of the rear window? My friends brother had those on his and we used to get pulled around on anything that rolled with them. It was really fun until around 30 mph or so. Try to do that today! LOL Just found a pic of them. They were air deflectors.

From roof-line to floor is 53 inches ,
I should of measured it pre-ripping it apart but, by looking at old pics I'd guess It has been lowered about 7-1/2 inches.

Thats not rust, thats the old gate seal , stuck / melted waht ever there, need to clean it off
