Well the engine builder says my 360 need new pistons.This was not in my budget but o well.So any ideas as to witch brand to get.I dont plan on any nitrious or high reving this unit,but would like to get 9 to 1 compression flat tops.Also how much do new pistons go for.Also thinking 30 over.

Sounds like KB 107"s will do the job.

Look them up at Summit.This will give you an idea on prices.Talk it over with the engine builder.They often can and will get you better prices on parts if they are also doing the machining. Thats what mine does. He pases his prices on to me as long as he gets to do the machining.

KB-107's will give a 9.8-1 ratio with a 72 cc head and .039 gasket.
KB still has a wide selection to choose from. Measure deck height to see if these (KB107) pistons will be at zero deck or not. They were for me, not for others here at FABO.

Last I checked, the KB107's were around $200 and change U.S.D.

Or this pistons and ring set combo;

At .015 shorter in height for slightly less compression.

There are other brands of hyperuetectics.Federal mogul,sealed power..etc.Also have a look at Mancini's websight.They have a good selection of sb pistons.You may find a true 9:1 by looking at different brands.

Thanks guys kb 107 seam to be a big choice here.

There a bit more than a 9.0-1.
Inexpensive slugs @ under 200? Hard to beat. Add rings of your choice.
I also like the piston and ring deal. That's nice as well. Good for street engines, no non-sense basic package.

I have a set of .030 over pistons and rods that were in a rebuilt block, never ran. I stroked it, so had to get stroker pistons. Not sure of the brand, all I can find on them is "Made in Canada". The rods are stock with new bearings. The pistons have the rings on them as well. I can get pics later if interested. I'll sell them for $150. And you'll save by not having to get the rods and pistons assembled. PM me if interested.
