Well I guess you could say I started my Dart build tonight. I bought the Dart the last week of July and have stored it at my dads until yesterday when I brought it home and put it in the garage. While it was at dads I pulled the engine and trans and sold them. I didnt consider that part of the build but part of the financing to go forward! So tonight I got home from work and pushed it outside and sprayed the engine bay down then took the power washer to it. Jacked the front end up and hit everything on the bottom side as well. Cleaned up pretty good. So after it sat for about 3 ours drying off I brought it back in(pushed), set up the lift and up in the air it went. Sprayed all the bolts and nuts to start removal of everything, then turned out the bolts to relieve the tension from the torsion bars. Thats as far as I got tonight but I feel good knowing I have started.

This is going to be a 2 year build. I plan on changing the brake system to disc front, 11" rear brakes, 8 3/4" rear with 3:91. Mini tub the rear inner fenders, move springs in, ad frame connecters and roll bar. Overhaul the body and paint. Motor is planned to be a 360 stroked to 408 with tunnel ram, 904 trans. Then complete interior overhaul. May not be in that exact order but a rough plan at this point.

I will have many questions as I go forward and look forward to the help and knowledge I can get here. In advance for the help and information, thanks. So far this group has been a great help.

If you have any questions or suggestions about this build please throw them at me. Its not my first rebuild/remod of a car as I have done 2 Corvettes over the past 7 years. This "one" I feel more excited about doing! I will add pics soon.

Thanks,
Rodney
