I received this build sheet from Stellantis Historical Services for my 1964 Plymouth Barracuda who explained they're unable to assist with decoding any of it. I'm wondering if anyone in the forum has experience with this and might be able to help me make some sense of it?

(It also doesn't help that it's not the clearest they also explained this is as good as they can get from the micro-films.)

Each punch is the number associated with the codes for what the car came with. If you had a factory parts manual you could then decode what they mean. My books only go from 66-up so I am of no help.

I have an IBM card decode sheet so you can read the numbers. Once you have those you can use the Order Code list for your year (i only have the 66 one but have seen 64 and 65 out there) and you can link numbers with options....

Over on C Bodies there is a thread as well..

DM me if you want help decoding the numbers at least....

Here's a hint too, just looking at the sheet from that link vs my build sheet - my build sheet has a 5 for transmission which translates to 365 on the order code which is a Torqueflite, 3 spd, floor mounted hsift console. Same goes for axle ration - build sheet says 2 which translates to 372 = 2.93:1 which was standard for the base 273 with automatic
