I just picked up this 71 swinger, its an Arizona native, spent 3 yrs. in Ca., untill 02 when it came to Mo., its been in & out of storage, the body/floors/rockers/trunk are pretty much spotless of rust, but it has a vinyl top, i just pulled it off today, my god what a mess, i don't feel so bad now after looking at this one, mine has holes, i thought for sure i'd have to put on a another roof, but hopefully not, i do have my work cut out for me though, its a 318-8.3/4 car, runs like a top.

i just got a roof from waggin i will post pics of it its like new cant wait till it goes on
 
Nice looking ride. Getting that cancer out of there will suck, but it will totally be worth it. Thanks for sharing and keep us posted.
 
i will take some pics as the roof comes off and the new one goes oni will keep updating
 
this is the roof i just picked up from waggin. the roof is awsome and not one rot hole in it. waggin (curtis) will be putting it on for me when i get some $$$$. he is a great guy to deal with and is very polite i cant wait till he does my roof!!!!!! 100_0985.jpg

well what does everybody think was it a good trade for some headers and a intake i sure do think so let me know what you think
 
na it was a edlebrock intake for a big block 440
 
good trade? how could you beat that? you did good! don't let the new top get rusted up before it grets put on. paint all of the cut edges or cover it up. good luck!
 
just cut the flors out of the car yesterday i now have the only 1971 dart you can standup in. fred flinston mobile LoL

What cubic inch was the slant that was in it and are you planning on keeping it? I might be interested in purchasing the rods from you if they are the right ones.

Looks like your coming along pretty good, if i might ask, whos installing the roof, & what will it cost? I found a roof, just waiting for it to be cut off, are you going to cut your old one off at the pillers & drop the other one in place? I was nervous about doing that without supporting the una-body, so i just cut the skin & side panals & below the back window, but left all the structure there, how are you going about doing yours?

I too am getting this 360 magnum ready so i can drop it in.
