So this at one time was my Dad's car, he got it from some friends of his
After he passed the car came to me, and I lent it out to my niece to use for High school
When the car came back it had changed colors and top
from black\white to white\ powder blue
and of course her, her Mom or anyone else understood to take the car to a good Mopar
mechanic... oh well
Right now the car needs paint, as of course rust started under the vinyl roof
and since I'm in the mood, I'm got to sand the roof, shoot it with epoxy primer,
use light weight filler, sand, then 320 sand the rest of the hood and trunk spray with
the epoxy, sand then I'm going to shoot the top area with a dark silver metallic,
next I'll shoot the sides with a mid night blue metallic...
I'm sanding all the wheel molding and front molding, which will be painted flat
black along with the front grill..
I'v already installed reverse chrome wheels (US wheels) on the back with
cooper tires, and I'll be doing the fronts the same. 215\65R 15
These tire's on the rims really was tight in the "stock" wheel well
the tire got cut a very little. So I took about 3\16 or a little more off the wheel well
lip.. which should give it all the room it needed.. the cute on occurred on the
passenger, but I cur both lips...

I had already installed all new front end pieces, and I'm adding a 360 intake with
4bbl and new dual exhaust.. Then I'm selling it...
I've got to many cars...

Just thought I pass on my project..
Best

Your color scheme is very similar to what my 1974 Scamp was going to be. It is a mid night blue metallic and I had thought's of just painting the roof silver metallic to match the rallys because it still has the vinyl top moldings on it, but once it was painted I liked the solid blue effect all the way around. I will enjoy seeing a picture of yours when it is painted, good luck.

all that and no pic!!! booooooo..

Well it's not like he bought it, The people he
got it from were some very old friends, there
were 3 of them 2 sisters and a brother. The
women never drove, so when the man died
the sister's gave the car to Dad. I don't remember
him ever driving it to tell you the truth.
One thing I found interesting, is when I pulled
the exhaust manifolds off, there were no
gaskets.
I tired to upload some photo's but not doing
to well at it..
