Well stumbled into an odd situation again.
I am thinking about replacing the skin on my from bench seat ('75 Duster) because it has several ripped seams so I started to look at where I could buy them... I didn't think this would be much of a problem.. The car is Golden fawn ...I am not sure how many interior combos there were but here are the guesses.
The colour is:
. Ember Gold, D2Y3 - I cannot find any record seeing that colour on my model year.
. Parchment
. metallic bronze and honey gold.
What has surprised me is that one MOPAR guy said my seat colours did not come from Chrysler..that someone replaced the seat portion insert in a different coloured vinyl.
I know the history of the car..the car was essentially a base model ...
I am sure I have seen others like this..
Could the factory or dealer done this ?
