A week ago I had double knee replacement surgery, perfect timing, Good Guys is this weekend.

Needless to say I'm not driving my Dart.

My daughter volunteered to take my (will be hers after I'm gone) Dart to the show.

I feel like when it was her first day going to kindergarten, so proud, so excited, so happy for her.

My buddies will be there to help her if she needs anything.

So grateful for knowing such good guys!

Cant wait until my 10 yr old daughter is old enough and hopefully she is into it lol.

I did not go today, I can walk but still on the mend.

Debbie will bring me over Sat and sun for a few hours.

Yesterday I did too much and paid for it last night and today. Only slept for about 3 hours.

PT was brutal today

PT is torture..... but essential to long term success!
Best friend has had both, girlfriend has had one done, can hardly wait to do it again, several friends have had both done.
The ones that did the pt most religiously have the best results.
(My knees are crap, BUT they don't hurt.)

Last year this time I could not walk 100 yards.

I agree with the PT my doc is a stationary bike pedler.

5 to 10 minutes per hour
Plus stretching

I think she has gotten the bug!

She is doing a drive around the show.

(I have never done that,)

I bet she will take the surf board and speaker system tomorrow!

My girlfriend walked into the house on the day of her surgery without a cane (still high as a kite from surgery meds) did her PT religiously ( she has an amazing pain tolerance) and her new knee is 100% better than her oem one.

I waddled to walk on Monday morning.

Monday night I was walking heal to toe.

Prayers for a speedy recovery. Very cool that she got to do her first show!

She really had a good time.

She even talked to another Dart owner and asked them if they wanted to park with the Cool Kids! (AKA A Body owners.)

I'll bring the surf board when I come in the am.

It is complicated to carry a 10 foot long surfboard in a convertible!

But she liked the idea!

She is in line and there is a street rod behind her "warming up" his excessively over cammed engine, with open pipes.

When you are in a convertible with the top down every sound is 10x what it would be in a hard top.

Reminder to all... Don't be that guy.

I know we all have pulled up to a stop light and that one young punk with his excessively loud base boom boom stereo playing so loud you go into cardiac arrest.

Don't be that guy.

When waiting in line be considerate of those around you.

So Katie is hooked enough that when I mentioned to her if she had a plumb crazy 67 Dart GT convertible would she like it, she lit up like a Christmas tree.

She got a lot of positive reactions driving my car!

That’s awesome! She had to of had the time of her life driving with her hair flowing in the wind!

She had a blast and is hooked enough to light up when I mentioned, what if you had your own car?????

Day 3

Overcast. But so far no rain. Weather report says 2pm.

Knees are doing exceptionally well
