Nice stuff guys. Hey Kev is that last one a Dart?
If so what year and where did you find it?

It's a 70Dart.
It's the L.A. Dart rear engine wheelstander.
I picked it up at Carlisle a few years ago. :D

Mopardude i have to get a 71 Duster die-cast now that i have a real one.
There's usually a bunch of the die-cast one's at Carlisle in a variety of colors there's even one in primer!

Buying diecast cars at swap meets is interesting. Sometimes they charge way more than in like a hobby store. Than other times you can get some crazy deals on them.

True but i have no hobby stores around here.
Last year the one vendor had the primered 68 Hemi Dart and had $100 price tag on it!
It was cool but not for that price!

Our local car club is hosting a diecast car dhow / swap meet on Feb 27 in Watertown, WI. I could keep an eye out for you.

i have over 50 1/18 diecast cars and about 150 1/64 scale cars (johnny lightning.matchbox,hotweels. i doxed them up about 3 years ago when i painted my living room (my wife got tired of them all stacked up to the ceiling) almost all of them are unopened and in excellent condition. ive been collecting the ertl "musclecar series" since 1993.......i also have a bunch of unopened un built model kits (1/24 and 1/25th) when you guys come over this spring or summer for the "for a bodies only carbque" you will see them displayed in my newly remodeled garage....... :D :thumrigh:

Yeah I can shrink it down.

Good deal on the money. I'll give you a call in a bit.

I have quite a few Mopar die cast cars, and some models but I've always been a fan of top fuel funny cars. I followed Dean Skuza and a few other pro funny car racers since the mid 90's. All the guy's that had a dodge body, I tried to keep track of. Skuza just had a personality that I caught on too. I know him personally and speak with him often now, and as much as I hate to say I am a fan of someone else, I'm a Skuza fan (even though he has a Pontiac body now).

I had the chance to work on an alcohol funny car (dodge avenger bodied) a few years back, and I love these cars. If I were rich, you can bet your bootie I'd be wheeling a dodge bodied funny car, and crapping my pants the entire run.

Here's a few of my Skuza funny cars .. some are still in the boxes and not pictured, and I am missing about 2 or 3 of his cars that I know of. :geek:

That looks pretty cool with the stainless steel tops with the wrenches in the back ground. Is that how you have them displayed normally?
