My driveshaft question

1974 dodge dart sport 360 4spd my driveshaft yoke has a keyed slot and the tail shaft splines do not is this going to be ok or is this normal see pictures thank you in advance

Normal it is to allow pressure flow from the area between the yoke and the output shaft as the yoke moves in and out.
