How many ohms is your Pertronix coil? I have two coils one pertronix filame thrower 2 and one msd blaster 2 which are supposed to be 0.6 ohms primary resistance but both when tested with multimeter show like 1.2 ohms, just wondering what your coil primary resistance reading is. Thanks.

Funny, I had my multimeter there and didn't think to put it on and see. The box said 3 ohms. I'm waiting for my Accel but had the pertronix so I ran with that today.

I thought the hei module needed 1.5 ohms or less on the primary resistance?

I like it better there. If you seen where I had my coil, there is more room where it's currently located.

I did the conversion to my 440. Works well. Haven't fired it back up since the carb rebuild and new plugs. Maybe tomorrow. A friend of mine also did that to his small block Duster.
