Well, the engine is together, broke in and powering my old pickup truck now! The engine has a nice smooth idle once it's warmed up, and is nice and peppy. It's a little soft off the line with the 3.23 gears and a 28" tire in the back, but it really starts pulling good around 2500rpm and stays strong until it shifts a little over 5200rpm. Overall, considering the engines simplicity and the relatively low cost to build, I'm very happy with it! It's gonna be my daily driver again, and should free up some time and space, (and money!!!), to really get cranking on my Dart again!
