Joe went personal best 9.54 with it. Weighs 3220 ish.
Non mintubbed, think it still has 002/003 S/S springs on it
Don’t like the scoop he put on it, but everyone has different opinions..lol

I'd like to see a pic of the car on the ground, so I can decide if I like that scoop.

That's awesome! Congrats
It isn’t mine anymore, but thanks. Had that car forever.
when I bought it(7000 bucks at a dealer auction) factory 340 car, all numbers matched, cold factory A/C. undercarriage spotless. Tag and sheet.
drove it around for a while like that, then put Eddie heads on it and some bolt ons
the factory 70 2.02 J Heads had never been off it. Factory gaskets intact.

Did it still have the hood latch[es] on it? I had 9 of those sliding pins on the hood of my WO car, and the hood ripped-off on the first high-gear pass.

Yes, all I did was cut a hole in the factory hood( back then they were easy to find if you wanted to return it to stock) and install a bolt on hemi dart hood scoop from AAR fiberglass.
Never had any issues with it on the big end at all.
on closer look, it appears he might have swapped the original hood( will have to ask him) it appears to not quite match color wise

Whats the combo?

it’s a 422 W5 X block
14 to 1, Indy intake currently( I ran a Victor W2 Brett welded up so the ports matched, raised them up)
tti W5 headers, Dana with 4.30’s 28 by 10 tire, 727, 8 inch vert
comp roller 700 lift, 276ish at 50
1100 pro systems dominator, Jessel sportsman rocker gear.
002/003 leaf, CE3 way shocks all around . Very, very old school. But it worked anywhere.
all steel, uncut, untubbed, just fiberglass bumpers.mild steel cage With swing outs.
shifted at 7, crossed at 7400-7500 ish.
it’s a little faster now than when I had it. Roller is a hair bigger but much more aggressive lobes, 1 more point in compression and these pistons are gas ported. Same 043 ring pack, car weighs about 130 pounds less with new driver now than me. Also currently runs a gear drive on it( milidon) I just had a chain
